With its inviting atmosphere and a menu that celebrates the joys of a hearty morning meal, this charming diner has become a local favorite for those in search of satisfying breakfast options.

The cafe boasts an array of breakfast offerings, from their signature ham and cheese omelet priced at just $6.79, to classic favorites like pancakes and waffles that are perfect for sweet-toothed patrons. The generous portions ensure that you leave with a happy stomach and a lighter wallet. As MaryAnn Spicer aptly described, the breakfast items are well-portioned comfort foods that evoke a sense of nostalgia, making it a go-to spot for many locals, especially seniors who enjoy their familiar favorites.

Despite a few minor hiccups here and there—such as the occasionally flat biscuits or overcooked bacon—the spirit of community and the quality of cooking shine through. The rich, creamy biscuits and gravy, laden with well-seasoned sausage, exemplifies the cafe's commitment to hearty home cooking. Indeed, many patrons share heartfelt experiences about the friendly staff who greet regulars with warmth and engaging conversation, reminiscent of days spent in a neighbor's kitchen.

The delightful Mark Feauto recounted his family's time at the cafe, highlighting the blueberry pancake platter and the accommodating nature of the staff, who handled a minor mishap with grace and reassurance. It is these little details that embody what makes 100th St. Corner Cafe so special. The team is dedicated to ensuring that every visit feels like coming home, even for those just passing through. There’s a certain charm in their commitment to maintain quality amid rising food costs, as reflected in their transparent signs about egg pricing—an honest touch that resonates with the community's values.

In summary, 100th St. Corner Cafe not only serves delicious breakfast dishes but also fosters an environment where everyone feels at home. Whether you’re indulging in a plate of fluffy pancakes or relishing the crispy bacon, you’ll be greeted by smiles and conversation, making it a delightful experience for all. Tucked away in a small nondescript strip mall is this small neighborhood diner where seniors seem to come and order their standard breakfast. The entrees are your typical well portioned standard order comfort foods with reasonable prices. What caught my attention was a small handprinted sign on the door explaining the extra charge of .50 cents per egg due to high egg prices - I read about this and now I see it— at least it is an add on and can be taken away when the inflationary rates for eggs go down if that is their choice. I ordered the full order of biscuits and gravy with a side order of bacon with enough left over for dinner. The rich gravy was creamy with a plethora of small chunks of sausage, but the biscuits not as fluffy (Somewhat flat-4 biscuits). The bacon was a little over cooked, for my taste, but each piece had good flavor. The food was well seasoned. The inside decor was well worn with a homey atmosphere served by a wait staff that seemed to enjoy serving up conversation with some of their regulars— this reminds of the neighbors that enter Waveland Cafe on Polk similar set up with a delightful neighborhood vibe.

Great food for a good price with Cafe style service. We had Angie's Hashbrowns and they were homemade.

My family and I were staying in a nearby hotel this past weekend and looked online for a place to get breakfast, and I'm so glad we found 100th St Corner Cafe! The food was very good and very reasonably priced, portions were generous, and the staff was wonderful with our three small kids. We even had a plate of french toast go tumbling on the floor, and the staff was sure to reassure our son that it was okay and that accidents happen as they cleaned it up. They even offered to remake it for us, but we were pressed for time and had to leave. I had the blueberry pancake platter with two eggs and two slices of bacon. The eggs were cooked exactly how I asked for them (over easy), and the bacon pieces were large and crispy. The pancakes were awesome and were served with warm syrup. I give our visit a 10/10! I'm not sure how it could have been better!

We love going to the Corner Cafe. We go there for breakfast almost every Thurs after yoga. But they have changed there pancakes. Not as fluffy and the size has gotten smaller. Blueberry pancakes are my favorite. I miss their old way of pancakes.

Easy place to find with great home cooking. Friendly staff who, while they were busy...still served with a smile!

Great breakfast! Stumbled on this gem by accident and am glad I did. Had breakfast at 9am on a Monday. They are open daily 6-1:30. Lunch also available. It's bigger than it looks from the outside. 2 separate dining areas with a mix of booths and table. Friendly staff. The only reason I chose a 4 is having to wait a really long time to get my order taken. It was busy. But I was passed over many times to serve other diners that had arrived after me. Not a deal breaker by any stretch. Just the reason I didn't do a 5 for service. Had the small breakfast platter which had an egg, 1/2 slice of ham, hashbrowns, toast. Choice of meat and bread. I added a cinnamon roll. It was all very good. The cinnamon roll was huge. Could easily share between 2 (or 3) people. All the food was cooked as I asked. Good flavor, good portions, quick delivery once I got my order in. Phenomenal price. Only $14 for that AND a cup of coffee. $14!!!!!
